He left us just after midnight, on the 4th of Jan. in his sleep, having fought hard till the very end. We’re devastated but are trying to seek solace in the fact that he is finally pain-free and at peace after nearly 2 years.
As per my last update, JJ was still undergoing chemotherapy. However, a PET scan revealed that the last round had been ineffective and the cancer was continuing to spread aggressively. His body was also weakening and he was having trouble breathing as the cancer spread to his lungs.
JJ’s condition deteriorated fast over the last 10 days and he was admitted to the hospital in the ICU on the 1st of Jan. In his heart and mind, he was still up for a fight.
We’ll always remember JJ with his warm smile, his ever-positive outlook to life, his immense fighting spirit, his art, and his passion for gaming and movies.
Thank you for helping him in his fight and helping us ensure that his treatment continued. Your prayers, messages, and contributions mean a lot to his family and friends.

It's been a while since the last update on JJ's health. He's still recovering.
JJ is at home, but visits the hospital for chemotherapy. His condition worsened in the middle, when doctors found that the cancer had spread to his lungs. But that is now in control and he, as always, is putting up a good fight.
JJ is in good spirits, laughing and cracking jokes. While he hasn't re-joined office, he's been doodling and sketching at home, and has churned out some amazing work!
Please continue praying for his recovery.

Hello!
It's been a while since the last update about JJ's progress. Well, things are only getting better!
He's been undergoing radiation for his arm every day, and will continue doing so for the next 20 days. The swelling in his arm (where the first tumour was detected) has reduced and he's sketching again after many months. :) And of course, he's gaining more and more strength in his legs, which means he's inching closer to walking normally.
JJ's next Chemo session is scheduled for the 2nd of May. And in the mean time, he's keeping himself busy by picking up new books to read.
