Dear Friends,

Hope you are all well and life is peaceful...

Wanted to provide a new update....we have now started working with Ananda Sagara, who support children of migrant workers. You can read more about the selfless and dedicated work that Amar and his staff are doing over here:

http://www.anandasagara.org/
https://www.thebetterindia.com/125192/homeless-to-a-home-for-migrant-kids-in-bengaluru/

Amar who started this, is purely dependent on donations and God's blessings. They are in need of help for daily sustenance, education material, construction work, rent, staff salaries etc...

This Sunday we had gone over with toys, stationary and course material and also provided them with some immediate help.

Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we are able to help them a bit from the leftover funds that you had lovingly contributed...hopefully we can continue to help further as people like Amar and such establishments are invaluable and their selfless dedication and commitment provides at least some relief and sanity to children and their parents who just by pure fate were born on the other side of the privilege divide.

Stay safe, stay healthy....

Kind regards,
Atonu

Dear Friends,Here's wishing you a very happy and peaceful new year!

Recently we paid a visit to SSV Special school for a session of Art Based Therapy by Nilima Mukherjee, who is an experienced exponent of this for mentally challenged children and a dear friend and relative of ours.

It was quite a fruitful session and both, the teachers and I learnt a lot. We also found out about the needs and plans of the school for 2019 and of course it was super to see the kids! We are planning a follow up one or two day camp to take this further.

Thank you for your time and continued support, it means a lot for the school in general and specifically the children.

Warm regards,
Atonu

Dear Friends,

I have some lovely news for you! A few months back it was decided that a vocational training unit will be created at Belakku School for Special Children and since then funds were used from your's and others' donations to buy equipment and to hire folks who could teach the children.

Now, after days and weeks of hard work mostly by these wonderful children, they are making disposable paper cups, paper plates, liquid disinfectant and incense sticks and currently they are learning to make liquid soap and also sewing.

This wouldn't have been possible without your contributions and others as well, over the two campaigns. Thanks to you, these very special children are slowly but surely learning to be independent, to earn a living, and how wonderful does that sound!

On behalf of everybody here, especially the children, a big, warm Thank you! :-)

Take care and have a nice week ahead,
Atonu
