Dear Supporters,
I am Ankita from Milaap. I spoke to Dr. Varun, founder of the Choti Choti Khushiyan Foundation.
"The girls are very talented but right now we have to sharpen their art skills before they start working", said the doctor, impressed with their work.
They have bought 25 sewing machines, each of them costing Rs 2100, for the girls to practice and work on.
There are stitching and embroidery classes every Sunday for 4 hours just for them. Currently, 25 girls are enrolled for the stitching class and 27 for the embroidery one. Two teachers come from the city, one for each class to teach them the fine arts
They are also providing education to the girls who left it mid-way due to family issues as well as to the ones who never received any form of education.
