Greetings from The Next Page!

February at our library was full of fun-filled activities all month. We explored abstract art, made models of viruses, built mini bridges, and even grew our own little terrace garden. Of course, as always our patrons were busy reading and exploring new ideas. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.

Enjoying a winter morning on the terrace:

We hope you have a great rest of the week! Thanks again for your support!

Greetings from The Next Page!
We have just ended our first month of operations and are really excited about the fantastic response from our young patrons. Here are some glimpses from the last few weeks.
Exploring books of different genres
Telling stories to each other under the guidance of our Didis.
Enjoying an evening read aloud of George’s Marvellous Medicine
Hard at work creating art masterpieces

In total we had 511 visits over the month with children reading, drawing, and participating in different activities.

We also began our weekend activities and kicked things off on Republic Day with volunteers helping children understand the importance of the Constitution of India with a fun activity.

The attentive attendees discussed the important features of the Constitution as outlined in the Preamble.

Everyone then went into the community with copies of the Preamble and talked to others about the importance of Justice, Equality, Liberty, and Fraternity. They wrote down names of people they interacted with on the tri-coloured ribbons.

We came back and learnt to make Republic Bracelets and ended the day by tying our ‘friendship bands’ to each other.

The day ended with some very happy and proud young Indians!
Thank you for all your support and keep checking back on our Instagram page @nextpagecentre as well as our blog nextpagecentre.blogspot.com. We are kicking off art and craft and science activities, as well as movie nights soon! Have a great week ahead.
