Hello Well-wisher,
My apologies for being away and not sharing any updates about Alyan’s transplant off late. My intention was not to send too many emails and clog your inbox but send one final email which a positive narrative.
As you all know per my last email, we started Alyan’s treatment on Feb 6th 2017. We had to stay back in Chennai whilst the treatment happened until 7th May 2017. With the blessings of the Almighty, the blessed treatment by our Doctors and your continuous prayers has resulted in Alyan coming back in good health with us to Hyderabad.
Even though he was discharged on 23 March, we were advised to stay back in Chennai for completing his post-transplant treatment. We had daily morning and evening visits to check his vitals. The frequency rose to three times in the last few weeks because of an infection.
He had to take medicines morning and evening through IV. Post all the tests returned normal, we were asked to go home. He will still require further checkups for some time but the Dr. who is treating Alyan has transferred his case to Hyderabad. This way we can take care of him in the comfort of his own home.
A BIG THANK YOU! To all of you who supported us when we needed it the most, by means of your Prayers and financially. As a parent, I now see a difference in Alyan now in comparison to what we had seen in the past before the treatment.

Today as on 21st Feb'17 we are done with the chemotherapy for Alyan finally on Friday 24th Feb 2017 Doctors are going to infuse his father's stem cells .
By gods grace all went well even though we had few complications this week but the doctor's here managed it very well , this is the final stage of the treatment and he has to develop in his own way . Alyan is going to be in high monitoring for coming 2 or 3 weeks.
So far with your blessing and prayers we had come so long and we don't want to give up now, Please do pray for his early recovery and he should not turn back to hospital in his life after this.
I had great support in Chennai with respect to Blood donation , many of us participated last Saturday and donated blood whole heartedly ( Thank You ) Karthik, Vijay & friends , Santosh , Michael however we are still left with palettes Donation for which I would be reaching you all when required.

Finally Alyan is in Chennai now and would be treated under supervision of Dr. Revathi Raj Apollo Hospital Chennai This was decided after a visit and speaking to many parents who got treated their kids under her , too many success stories and I wanted to give my best . Fortunately she was ready for un related donor as complications are high and Alyans donor is now his father which is me .
We had too many tests today and Alyan might get admitted tomorrow 8th feb'17 with one weeks of monitoring and then the actual treatment . The whole process is of 2 to 3 months and he is expected to be in only Chennai for frequent visits to hospital and monitoring .
Thanks for all your support and now its time for lot lot of prayers , please do pray for Alyan whenever you can .
