This Father Is Begging Strangers To Save His Daughter's Life

Zahangeer gets up early in the morning and checks on his 6-month-old baby girl, Tachina. He skips the morning tea, he knows he has to save every rupee now. Then he goes out looking for people who can help him - mostly strangers - in his hour of distress. He goes up to them and tells them how sick his daughter is, hoping they would spare something.
“I call up people back home too. But now they have stopped picking up my calls. I feel so helpless. I have to save Tachina, she needs a liver transplant. But how do I afford the treatment? I don’t have a single rupee left with me…”- Zahangeer, father.

Those 7 days in ICU, we thought we would lose her…

Tachina was only 3 months when Zahangeer and Chandni noticed that her eyes, her body was turning yellow. She had a slight fever too and her stomach was swelling up.

“They said it was jaundice. They said medicines will cure her. But she only got worse. She started having seizures and we had to immediately admit her to the ICU. She was there for 7 days but those 7 days seemed like an endless nightmare to us,” - Chandni, mother.

Eventually, tests revealed that Tachina has biliary atresia. Her bile ducts are blocked, she needs an urgent liver transplant to get cured.

The pain in her stomach, the itch in her body doesn’t let Tachina sleep

Tachina is in a lot of pain. She can’t sleep on her stomach, it is swollen abnormally. Her entire body keeps itching, her temperature doesn’t seem to get normal. All she does is cry - Chandni can’t put her down on the bed, even for a single minute.

“I am willing to donate my liver, I will do anything for my baby. But the money, we have already spent more than 10 lakhs...how will we arrange for so much?” - Chandni breaks into tears as she says this.
They need about 18 lakhs for the liver transplant. And Zahangeer has spent everything he had saved over the years. He has a small shop in Kushtia, Bangladesh, he makes just about enough to look after his family.

“I have even sold my wife’s jewellery. There is nothing more I can do, except beg. I am doing that every day but 18 lakhs? It’s just impossible...please help me,” - Zahangeer.
Their 9-year-old son calls them and cries. He wants them to come home with his little sister, But these helpless parents can't go back home unless Tachina is cured. You can help them
