“For the last 3 months, we have been going from one hospital to the other, trying to find what is wrong with our child. Only 2 days ago, we found out that it is skin cancer”- Suhasini, mother of 14-yr-old Sahana.

Suhasini is a primary school teacher while her husband Shivananda works multiple jobs to keep the household running. They borrowed heavily to afford tests and treatments to ease their child’s pain.

“Our world came crashing down when the doctor told us it is skin cancer that is killing my daughter. She needs rigorous treatment to survive this, and it has to start right away. But how can we afford such a huge amount in such short time?”
