She Has Been Waiting To Hear Him Call Her Amma, But She May Wait Forever

“We never thought we will become parents, we gave up all hopes, but then after 9 years, after trying everything we could... God gave us Mokshagna and we couldn’t be happier. But we failed to protect him.” - Venkatesh, father

Venkatesh and Maleshwari were on the top of the world and their happiness couldn’t be explained in words. Everyone in the family was extremely happy and gave all the love in the world to little Moksh. But now just within a few months after turning 1 year old, the little boy is struggling for his life.

“He was sleeping peacefully and all of a sudden his eyes were wide open and his body was burning up, my baby couldn’t breathe. I have never been this terrified before, we took him to the hospital and since then, we haven’t left the hospital. I just...I don’t want to lose him.” - Maleshwari, mother

Mokshagna is struggling for his life in PICU (pediatric intensive care). He is suffering from a severe case of pneumonia and without proper observation and care, Maleshwari and Venkatesh will lose their son.

I am just a lorry driver, how will we...

These parents put their house on mortgage to save Mokshagna but whatever they got was also not enough. Just a few more weeks in the ICU and Moksh will be fine but they are unable to afford the treatment.

“Our hands are tied. What can we do? I am just a lorry driver. I earn 12k a month, and have no savings! My baby needs 3.5 lakhs... we are unable to bear it anymore.” - Venkatesh

He is all I have...

“I wait for the day when he will start walking, I wait for the time when he will start calling me Amma. But what if he can’t make it... he is all I have, my only child.” - Maleshwari

The parents are devastated watching their son struggle to survive. They feel helpless, the inability of not being able to arrange the funds is killing them. Rs 3.5 lakhs can save this 1-year-old baby boy. A few more weeks in the ICU and Moksh will smile and play again.

Your help can save Mokshagna and give these parents their only chance at being parents back.
