We lost two children before her. Doctors said we’ll never become parents again. Then God gave us one daughter. And now, we’re losing her too…
I come from a small village in Jharkhand. My wife and I were married for five years before we first tried to have a child. But life didn’t bless us that easily. In 2012 and again in 2013, we lost our babies — both were miscarriages. My wife nearly died the second time. She became very weak, both in body and spirit. After the second loss, doctors told us, “You may not be able to have children again.” Those words broke us completely. For years, we stopped trying. We stopped dreaming. Then one day, in 2018, something unbelievable happened. My wife was pregnant again. We couldn’t believe it. We held our breath every single day, prayed to every god we knew. And finally, after all those years of heartbreak, our daughter was born.

She Was Our Miracle
When I held her in my arms for the first time, I remember thinking — “So this is what happiness feels like.” Everyone in the family was crying tears of joy. For the first time in years, our home had laughter, hope, and life again. But our happiness didn’t last long. Just after her first birthday, we noticed something strange. She wasn’t running around like other kids. Her skin started looking pale. Her energy was gone. She stopped eating properly. At first, we thought maybe she was just weak — maybe a vitamin problem. So we took her to the doctor in our village. Then to a bigger hospital. Then another one. And then came the news that turned our world upside down —Thalassemia Major. A deadly genetic disorder.

Without a Transfusion, She Won’t Make It to Next Week
From that day, our life became all about hospitals, blood banks, and medicines. Every 15 days, we travel for hours just to give her blood. I hold her tiny hand while nurses search for a vein. Her arms are full of scars. Sometimes she screams in pain. Other times, she just turns her face and says softly: “Papa… no more injections please…” I don’t know how to answer her.

We Sold Everything To Arrange Funds For Her Treatment
First the jewellery, then the furniture, then even our clothes. Now we eat once a day — just to save enough for the next hospital visit. And still, it’s not enough. The doctors have now told us — there’s only one way to save her life. A Bone Marrow Transplant. It costs ₹32 lakhs. I work in a small NGO. My wife is a housewife. ₹32 lakhs is not just a big amount for us — it’s an impossible one. But if we don’t arrange it soon, we will lose her.

Please… Help Me Save My Daughter’s Life
She should be in school right now. I feel helpless. Every time I give her blood, I know I am only buying her a few more days. Sometimes, I feel like giving up. I feel like ending it all. But then she smiles at me — even through her pain — and I hold on for one more day. Please help me. If you’re reading this, you could be the reason she survives. Even one share can reach someone who can help. We waited our whole lives for her. Please don’t let us lose her now.
