After Losing 4 Babies Before They Could Be Born, Their Dream Of Being Parents May Be Shattered Again

In the last decade, Rehana has lost count of the miscarriages she has had just to fulfil her dream of having a family of her own. She finally delivered a baby girl but with severe complications. Now seeing her rainbow baby in the NICU, her resilience  stands on a shaky ground. But still, this mother refuses to give up on her newborn.

"A few months ago, I lost my baby at 5 months inside my womb. From the moment I heard my unborn baby's heartbeat, I was longing to hold him in my arms but Allah had other plans for me. It felt like my wounds would never heal but another pregnancy helped me gather some hope and filled my heart with joy again. Now again, I'm crushed seeing my baby girl suffer so much as soon as she stepped into this world." - Rehana, mother

After previous miscarriages, these parents are scared their newborn won't survive too

Inside the womb, amniotic fluid helps to cushion and protect the fetus to grow into a healthy baby. In Rehana's case, her fluid had dried up so much that it risked the fetus's survival. So, they had to operate and take the baby out in the 31st week of her pregnancy.
"At birth, when I didn't hear hear my baby cries, I felt my heart stop in dread. All I was praying for was her not to be a stillborn. After the efforts of the doctor, she moved and I finally thanked Allah for this blessing. But when I got back to my senses, I panicked not seeing my baby next to me. She couldn't breath on her own because her lungs hadn't developed yet." - Rehana, mother

This mother will never be able to conceive again if she loses this baby

For the past 10 to 12 years, Rehana and Asif have been having a hard time planning for their future. After 4 miscarriages, this baby has given these grieving parents a lot of hope to build a happy family. As per the doctors, if they lose their baby now, Rehana will never be able to conceive again.

Desperate to keep his newborn alive this time, this father is under huge debts

Asif had strived a lot to find a job opportunity to stay near Rehana while she was pregnant with their baby. He had no option left but to move out of the country so that he could sustain them.
"After previous miscarriages, Asif was so desperate to keep the babies alive that he took multiple loans to consult a good hospital for my check-up and treatments. He still has not been able to repay those loans and that has made it extremely difficult for Asif to come visit us. In the hope of saving our baby girl, Asif is taking out more loans and still we are unable to keep up with the NICU expenses of some 7.4 lakhs rupees." - Rehana, mother

Rehana and Asif plan to name their baby 'Mumtaz' as a tribute to their late mother. But it's been more than a month now, he longs to see his daughter's face. Rehana is struggling single-handedly with the hospital visits along with her c-section stitches. Please help this family save their newborn by clicking here.
