I'm Babu, 48, from Coimbatore. After years of supporting my family, kidney failure has left me on dialysis and facing a life-saving transplant.
Kidney failure has robbed me of peace, and doctors say a transplant is my only option. Every day feels like a countdown, and I'm terrified I won't make it.

I Was Due For My Blood Pressure Tests. But I Found Out I Had Kidney Failure
I thought it was just high blood pressure. But suddenly I felt a lot of fatigue, hardly any appetite, and started vomiting. At the hospital, my test results showed alarmingly high urea levels. Doctors said my kidneys had shrunk and were failing.
Since then, I've had to chain myself to dialysis machines thrice a week. The doctors warned me that dialysis only buys me time; it doesn’t heal. My only hope is a transplant, an operation that costs lakhs, which we simply don’t have.

Ever Since My Diagnosis, My Heart Once Stopped
Dialysis keeps me breathing, but it doesn’t stop my body from breaking down piece by piece. My heart once stopped, and I needed a pacemaker installed to keep beating. A sudden brain bleed left my legs paralysed for months. Kidney failure even caused fluid buildup in my lungs, nearly drowning me until another surgery pulled me back.

It feels like my organs are surrendering one after the other. I was once 72 kilos, now I'm just 38. I can no longer stand on my own; even shifting in bed or taking a few steps is impossible without someone holding me up.

My Wife Has Been My Pillar. But Without Anyone Helping Us, She's Can't Hold On Any Longer
I used to work as a two-wheeler service manager. Everything I needed, I could do on my own. Even if I wasn't earning a lot, I loved supporting my family. Today, I can't walk, let alone sit on the bike.
My wife was the canteen in-charge at a local company. But when I could no longer walk last year, she had to quit. Now she lifts me, bathes me, helps me to the toilet, and carries the burden of care and worry.

We've already sold our house, jewellery, and exhausted our savings.Doctors say I need immediate surgery that will cost several lakhs, which is beyond our means; otherwise my body will shut down. We have no income or time left.

All I Want Is To Live For My Family Again. But I Can't Do It Without Your Help
My wife doesn't have anyone else. My son just finished college and is searching for a job. I don't want to become a burden to them. I want to recover, work again, and support my family, but I can't make it alone.
My voice is all I have left, so please hear my request. Only your support can save me. Give me a chance to be the husband and father my family needs.
