Yes. This fundraising event is for individuals, groups, and registered non-profits. All we need from you is a valid bank account and identification proof of the account holder, individual or organization to transfer funds.

It's free to create and share your online fundraising campaign. We charge a 5% platform fee for our basic plan. There is also a payment gateway fee that can vary from 2 to 3.2% depending on the payment gateway used. We are in it together; we succeed only when you do! The pricing structure for the 2016 Bengaluru Marathon fundraising event would be as under:

The platform fee would be deducted on the total amount raised by the organisation for this project. The higher the funds raised for this project, the lower the platform fee charged on the amount raised. Please see the following pricing structure for platform fee.

Anyone across the world can donate to your campaign. You can also choose to receive funds only from donors in India in accordance with the legal status of your organisation.

Yes, absolutely. Visit your dashboard and go to My Projects section. Click on the See details below the Withdraw button and you'll be able to see the Milaap fees, PG fees, Amount withdrawn so far and Amount available for withdrawal. Click here to see how you can see the breakup of funds.

Yes, absolutely. We will confirm the account details with you each time to request a withdrawal of funds with us. For campaigns fundraising for an NGO, funds shall be transferred to NGO's account.

Login to your account from your campaign page and visit https://milaap.org/home#myprojects.
Click on the Withdraw Funds button and enter your bank details to receive funds raised. Submit it after checking the details thoroughly. You'll receive an email acknowledgement about the request.

Yes, absolutely. You can disable the feature of accepting USD contributions on your campaign page.

No. No fee is charged to donors who donate on Milaap.

You can choose 'Pay as Anonymous' while making a payment to any campaign, and you'll remain anonymous.. You can also choose the 'Remain Anonymous' option while editing your profile.

Yes! Besides our secure, SSL encrypted online payment options, Milaap also has cheque pickup and direct bank transfer through NEFT, for making donations to campaigns.

You can donate any time starting 26th July, 2016 till 16th October, 2016.

Your money will directly help the civil society organizations (CSO) to accomplish their goals and make a difference to society.  Milaap will closely work with the CSOs to ensure that the funds you have donated are used in the best possible manner and share regular updates. 

If the civil society organization (CSO) you are donating to has an 80G certificate, yes you will receive 80G tax exemption receipt issued on behalf of CSO. You will find a note as "80G tax benefits for INR donations" on the campaigns issuing tax exemption.
