Doubled her impact for local education initiatives through corporate matching
Employer matching, also known as matching gifts, is a powerful way to maximize your donation’s impact at no additional cost to you. It’s a program where companies financially match the donations their employees make to nonprofit organizations. For example, if you donate $100 to a cause, your employer might contribute an additional $100, effectively doubling your donation.

Maximize your impact by leveraging employer matching programs to double or even triple your donation.
Employer matching programs allow your donation to go further, effectively doubling (or even tripling) your contribution. This means that the causes you care about receive even more support, significantly extending their reach and impact.
When your donation is matched, it doesn’t just increase in value—it encourages others to give. Matching gifts inspire additional contributions, creating a ripple effect that amplifies the overall impact on the cause.
We ensure that your matched contributions are easy to track and fully transparent. You’ll receive regular updates on how your funds are utilized, and we guarantee your privacy—no unsolicited WhatsApp messages, texts, or spam calls, ever.
After donating, submit a matching gift request through your employer's corporate giving portal. You’ll need to provide details about your donation, such as the amount, date, and recipient organization. Some companies may require a paper form or proof of donation.
Deadlines vary by company. Some employers require requests within a few months of the donation, while others might allow up to a year. It’s important to check your company’s guidelines and submit your request promptly to ensure your donation is matched.
Most 501(c)(3) nonprofits in the U.S. are eligible. However, some companies have specific criteria or exclude certain types of organizations. Be sure to select 'Asset India Foundation (EIN: 20-5139364)' when submitting your request to ensure eligibility.
The time frame can vary depending on your employer’s disbursement schedule. Typically, it takes 30 to 60 days from when your request is approved for the funds to be credited to the nonprofit. Once the funds are received, we’ll update the campaign page and notify you via email.
Many companies allow retroactive matching for donations made within a specified time frame, usually ranging from a few months to a year. Check your employer’s guidelines for more information.
If your employer doesn’t offer a matching gift program, consider encouraging them to start one. In the meantime, you can spread the word about employer matching to friends and family who may work for companies that do offer this benefit.
Follow up with your employer after submitting your request, and take advantage of any automated submission features your company’s portal might offer. Sending reminder emails within 24 hours of donation increases the likelihood of getting your donation matched.
