December is almost here! While the entire city dons their sweaters, monkey-caps and mufflers with a hot cup of tea (which they enjoy holding instead of drinking), there are few under-privileged who cannot afford even a blanket and die — without a roof — to add one more to the count of deaths in North India due to cold wave every year.

For Paper Plane, it’s not just about changing the lives of the people but doing something even more basic than that — making them survive — enabling them to fight their battle of survival against winter.

Making sure that the help reaches only to the ones who are actually in need has been the key objective of the drive for Paper Plane. With your love and support, we were able to distribute 200+ blankets to the needy in 2017. Recognizing that there are many vulnerable people who are being severely affected by this cold spell, Paper Plane would continue its blanket distribution drive to those in the greatest need — the old, the homeless, the sick this year. We would be running #winterblanketdrive2018 starting December 2018. This year the target is to ensure distribution of at least 300 blankets. Therefore, we would like to humbly request you to contribute as little and as much as you can. We also encourage everyone to spread the message to all your friends and share the donation link. We’ll be sharing complete details about the locations we would be serving along with the nos. of blankets distributed.
