My name is Shreya Ghosh, raising funds for my husband, Dipak Halder- father of our 4-year-old daughter Sindhura, battling with Covid-19 for the last 30 days (10 days in hospitalization, 10 days in ICU). The Covid-19 has badly affected his lungs with HRCT score of 24/25. i.e. 96% lungs infected. He is presently undergoing ECMO treatment as it is the only way to save his life!

Brief background:
Dipak was tested covid-19 positive on 25th May and was facing sore throat and mild fever. However the situation deteriorated and he needed to be hospitalized and put on oxygen support on 30th May at Sushrusha Nursing home, Kolkata. Later as his situation deteriorated, he was shifted to Medica Superspecialty hospital, Kolkata on 9th June and put on ventilator support. Currently he is on ECMO and will need long term ventilation till his lungs recover. If his lung conditions does not improve, he might need lung transplant.
The present treatment till date has already drained most of our savings. Although we are trying our best to provide him the medical care needed will need your generous help to continue the fight to save my husband and my daughter’s father…

We recently lost Dipak's father to Covid, after him being hospitalized for 15 days. Dipak spent his full effort in taking care of him in his last days, and now he himself is hospitalized.
