We are living in truly unprecedented times. The current pandemic wave is severe and impacting each one of us in some way. Some of us have lost family and friends, some have family members who are impacted while some of us are recovering from the illness ourselves. Few of our associates are dealing with varied challenges pertaining to COVID-19 cases in their immediate families.

Over the last few weeks, we also lost four of our beloved colleagues to COVID-19 – four remarkable individuals who were taken away too soon. For those of us who have worked closely with them, this news is yet to sink in. For their families, the loss is beyond words. It will take them a long time to recover and stitch their lives together again.

We stand with our associates during these tough times. Unicare is initiating an ‘Associate Support Fund’. This fund is one of the ways in which we show our solidarity to the families of these associates impacted by COVID-19. Unicare has collaborated with Milaap to provide you a platform to help the families of our deceased associates and also to support the COVID-19 relief activities we have initiated for our associates. We aim to crowdsource funds for the families of all the four deceased associates whom we lost to COVID-19. 

This fund is over and above the settlement that the families of these associates are eligible for from the organization. You can choose to either donate to an individual or make a group donation towards this cause.
