“TEAM HORUS , managed by Akash Bhatia,“ was established in 2017 we were the very first batch to build a solar electric vehicle in the history of NMIT.
We stood on the top  first ranking. In the  ISVC-2018  championship during virtual round .And with a bang we secured a “BEST DESIGNING award”
Now with a same real and enthusiasm and the team with full of inquisitive and talented engineers of NMIT.
The team is a completely student run organization that designs, builds and races Solar Electric Vehicles, consisting of over   22 undergraduate students from various engineering streams. Our team was founded in 2017  and since then we have made one solar car Kyra.
The main objective of our team is to promote the use of solar energy in the transportation sector and drive research and innovation into solar technology.
We aim at using the power and heat of sun rays and inculcating the same , to design and build our solar electric vehicle.
We the 22 aspiring undergraduate from various departments ie : Mechanical, Electronic and Communication & Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
We erg to design a solar electric vehicle to break all the existing standards and introduce a new era of solar motives by enhancing the functionality, efficiency and sustainability for a green future by improving the utilization of renewable energy source
We are currently building our * second solar car* for the two event of 2019 Challenges i.e. FSDC and ESVC and need your assistance in making it India’s most efficient and road-worthy student-designed solar car.
For Building this car the overall estimated cost is around 3 Lakhs including building up of car, transportation etc. The full fund we are getting will be spent only on this project and for the betterment of this project.
