I am writing this request letter with the hope of receiving you support for my father who is suffering from periampullary cancer. He is currently undergoing medication for pancreatic Cancer. Current medication has had no effect on the tumors and doctors have decided for higher medication.
Whatever his has earned till now was spent in our (me and my sister) studies. My younger sister is pursuing her masters now. I am also preparing for Civil Services. Neither he nor we ever thought of that situation like this will come to us. Since his monthly salary was low so he couldn’t save much. Since my father is suffering from periampullary cancer doctors were about to do whipple’s procedure but during the surgery they found that already it has become very severe and has spread to blood vessels as well.
The only option now is Radiation therapy followed by chemotherapy. But the cost of radiation and chemotherapy is too high and it’s difficult for 2 girl students like us to think.
I am very sad inside because I couldn’t do anything for the man who raised and educated 2 daughters in a remote village in Assam against all odds. I will miss his smile and care that no one can refill. There are many thoughts but I am helpless now. Completely helpless.
My dad is a very hard-working man, an excellent human being and a friend and I would like you to save his life by contributing. I would be grateful for your donation. I am looking forward to your help as I know that you are a benevolent donor.
