Play Practice is an artists residency program, Started in 2014 as a project from Bangalore Dance Collective, A non profit organisation initiated by Abhilash Ningappa and various artists collaborators working together with a firm belief in Contemporary performing and Movement art projects.

Our projects involves " Architect of Self Destruction", " New Trash","Disposable heroes”,”too Far east is west”. as well as projects from individual artists providing an open platform to showcase their works.Bangalore Dance Collective started in a 100 sq ft living room space in 2009 with 11 collaborators working on various research and performance projects mainly focussed on collaboration work with Musicians and Choreographers.
We would love so much if you like to support our project and make our dream come true. we are half constructed and to complete we have estimated to Rs 7,00,000/- this is enough for us to afford basic requirements ( remaining construction expenses, dance floor, plumbing and electricity) to start the residency.
Any donation will help us at this point and we are grateful for anything that you can offer , we will provide studio space to artists and support artists to develop their project and organise more projects in the future. this will inspire and support young artists.
We thank you deeply for your support, and look forward to seeing you in our studios, performances, residencies, anytime you wish to visit and witness your contribution.
