My name is Zeel Potdar, and at 27 years old, I never imagined I would be writing something like this. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with Mixed Phenotype Acute Leukemia, commonly known as MPAL. This is a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer that requires immediate and intensive treatment. The diagnosis came as a shock to me and everyone around me. Life as I knew it changed overnight. MPAL is one of the most complex forms of leukemia, and my doctors in Ahmedabad have outlined a treatment plan that includes chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant. While I am determined to fight this with everything I have, the financial burden of this treatment is overwhelming. The estimated cost of my complete treatment is Rs. 50,00,000, which is far beyond what I can manage on my own.
CURRENT CONDITION - I am currently in the ICU in extremely critical condition and fighting for my life. As per my recent medical reports, my heart function has severely weakened with an ejection fraction (LVEF) of only 15%, severe heart dysfunction, and complications affecting multiple organs. I am on ventilator support, and due to kidney inflammation and worsening condition, I am also undergoing SLED dialysis.
My treatment requires continuous ICU care, life-saving medications, blood products, and urgent donor support. Doctors are closely monitoring my condition as it remains very serious.
My family and I are trying our best to continue the treatment, but the medical expenses are becoming overwhelming for us.

LINE OF EVENTS - Before 20 days from now , I claimed my bed in Shalby Hospital, Ahemdabad I'm MRD POSITIVE with 2.2% rate And now I'm undergoing treatment for the same. In 2024 went to Canada to pursue higher education, but my journey took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with MPAL (Mixed Phenotype Acute Leukemia). Since then, my focus has shifted from building my future to fighting this serious illness. I recieved first phase of treatment in Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital, Canada and then due to insurance issues I have to fly back and begin treatment here. Treatment is intense and I went under induction chemotherapy for one month and now to get rid of MRD I have to again undergo from induction chemotherapy with different regimen. Between time off work and the cost of travel and medications, the financial pressure adds up quickly. I am asking for help so I can focus on healing instead of worrying about bills. As I am trying to make my dreams possible and world came to halt.
