Two stories. Two borders. One shared loss—and an even stronger will to rise again.
From Kashmir, Naie Kiran has long been a quiet force—reviving intricate embroidery on pashmina and kota, while creating livelihoods for women artisans. The fire that engulfed Shop No. 29 didn’t just burn a space—it took with it over ₹85 lakhs worth of their work, their time, their stories. And yet, Naie Kiran stands—not for itself, but for every hand it supports—ready to begin again.
From Afghanistan, Afghan Handicrafts—a collective of brothers who rebuilt their lives in India after fleeing during Taliban rule—created more than a business at Nature Bazaar. They built a bridge of sustenance for those back home. Their carpets, ikats, and textiles carried not just craft, but connection. The fire of 15th March reduced over ₹1 crore of their stock to ashes, shaking an entire ecosystem they had nurtured.
Today, these two artisan worlds—across borders, across histories—come together in resilience.
This fundraiser is not just about recovery. It is about preserving craft, protecting communities, and keeping alive a rare, cross-border collaboration of skill, spirit, and survival.
Let’s help them rise.Let’s help them rebuild.Let’s ensure their stories—and their stitches—continue.
Support. Share. Stand with them.
