Story

Education is every child's birthright.

We have been trying to educate children in the slum areas and nearby villages to have a good education.

We, at the Rotaract Club of Yuva Jaipur, try everday to educate oung minds so that they can build their own Future.

We are enthusiastic young adults between the age group of 18-30 years and strive to serve the society at different levels and avenues of service via various initiatives that make small but significant contributions in promoting education, equality and world peace. To know more about us and what we do, please visit our Website and profiles on facebook.com/yuvarotaractclub and Instagram

Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18-30 to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service.

Our Motto: Self Development - Fellowship Through Service

Rotaract originally began as a Rotary International youth program in 1968 at Charlotte North Rotary Club in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States, and has grown into a major Rotary-sponsored organization of over 10,904 clubs spread around the world and 250,792 members in 184 countries.

In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service. From big cities to rural villages, Rotaract is changing communities like yours.

What’s involved?
Rotaract members decide how to organize and run their clubs, manage their own funds, and plan and carry out activities and service projects. Rotary club sponsors offer guidance and support and work with your club as partners in service.

Being one of the SDG goals, as well, education to each and everyone is of atmost importance.

Thus, keeping that in mind, we Rotaractors try to be there educators by spending an entire day with these little angels with various fun filled learning activities. And with learning, we do our best to create memories.

We have done a lot of projects in the past, and has now come back with an even bigger project where we will be the change that we want to see in the world. We are going to aim towards increasing the Literacy Rate, one step at a time.

The funds collected will be used for all of the expenses being incurred during the project campaign, right from educational kits for the children and to train them; and also the travelling expenses for our volunteers as an incentive, for their involvement to go and from the village.

A LITERACY PROGRAM AS PART OF A LARGER INITIATIVE
Literacy programs may be seen either as integral to the achievement of the goals of a larger community initiative (one on education, for instance), as one part of a multi-pronged approach to a community problem, or as a component of an all-out assault on poverty and other conditions that produce unwanted consequences in the community. Some initiatives that might include adult literacy services:
Violence prevention
Substance abuse prevention
Community health (either a general push toward a healthier community, or a campaign aimed at a specific health problem or concern)
Voter registration
Economic development
Job training
Education
Anti-poverty (comprehensive initiatives including many of the above areas and others as well, designed to address the issue of poverty from many different angles)
