It has been more than 100 days since We Will Help (WWH) Charitable Foundation first stepped out to help and feed tribal village hamlets in the interior forests of Aarey. As the days under lockdown passed, we have extensively extended our reach to other tribal villages and slums across Mumbai, where COVID-19 has struck havoc in the lives of many.
So that no one goes hungry a day, we are even reaching out to street dwellers and those who are homeless and neglected during this crisis. We are even staying true to our cause and helping daily-wage workers with grocery care packages, which will sustain them and their families for a couple of weeks. Since the program’s launch, we have served 15,300 nutritious meals to tribal families, daily-wage earners. As the efforts continue, over 2 tons of rice and wheat have reached 450 families which will help keep them going for a couple of weeks. We have even distributed 1,200 ration kits along with masks/sanitizers/hand-wash/soaps.
With so many people looking towards us for help, we are looking towards you for support. Through your contribution to our cause, you will be one among our COVID-19 Warriors, who brave the odds. With a strong force of determined volunteers, we are now looking for funds to help us help others in need. In the truest spirit, we are seeking your aid and donation. During these times, we pray for the safety and recovery of all, and we hope to undertake all precautions necessary to ensure the health and well-being of ourselves, as volunteers, and our loved ones.
