Summer is coming !!! Actually summer is already here in India. I am sure a bunch of us are trying to find the best spot in the room below the fan or are only traveling in cars and doing businesses in AC offices. I recently moved back to India and I am doing the exact same thing so i can relate to my buddies :)
However last week I did venture out in the middle of the day around noon. As the uber cab kept cancelling my request I just took an auto to visit my dad who runs a grocery store. By the time I reached the grocery store I thought I would be dehydrated and probably be hospitalized. The temperature was about 40 degree celcius. That's a bit over dramatic of me but anyways I was exhausted just sitting in the auto for 30 mins. Later I went to a tailor nearby for some alteration work and that guy was sitting on the street doing his work under the sun with no complaints. I got back to my store and told my dad about it and he replied saying people in India are really tough !!!!

My dad offered me chaas ( buttermilk ) after and oh boy, it was the happiest event of my day. So to spread this happiness to all the tough people of India who are out there working hard in this hot AF weather, I am starting a chaas campaign to distribute chaas with my army of volunteers this summer to all the men and women out there who are working their asses off to support their dear families.
Distribution plan :
15 volunteers will distribute 500 chaas each
15 * 500 == 7500 chaas !
Current Status :Volunteer 1 - Trina Roy ( Hyderabad ) is almost done with distributing her boxes. She has been driving around and distributing to construction workers, daily wage workers in her factory, people working at the street lights and almost anyone she comes across on her way to work who is working hard in this scorching heat.
Volunteer 2 - Nimish Patil ( Mumbai ) is planning to host a chaas stall in Boisar Tarapur ( his work place )
So if you are reading this and are equally privileged as us to sit, stand, sleep, work, eat and poop in AC rooms while the majority of the population is doing the same in the hot sun then
1) Donate 1$ == 72 rupees == 7 chaas boxes == 7 people's happiness.OR

Trust me you will feel amazing to sit, stand, sleep, work and poop in AC rooms after! Let's see how many $$$$$ do we get ? Also we share receipts, pics ( with the beneficiary's permission ) and most importantly the blessings from the distribution as transparency is one of the guiding principles of how we operate.
