The women of Dharavi, in many cases, are engaged in the dual roles of homemaker and breadwinner. The ongoing health crisis has disrupted these formal and informal networks, women are battling with stigma, financial instability, hunger, shortage of basic necessities, mental and emotional disturbances.

For our sisters in Dharavi, job losses and unemployment are a result of not just the lack of opportunities but the stigma - of being Dharavi's residents.

This is a call to stand by our sisters and support them through this difficult period. All funds raised will be shared directly with the women who have been most affected.
