    Women experiencing period poverty

from Delhi, National Capital Territory of Delhi

We are raising funds for women experiencing period poverty through Project Sukhad — an initiative dedicated to menstrual health, hygiene awareness, and breaking the deep-rooted taboos that have long surrounded menstruation. In many communities, menstruation is still treated as a subject of shame, silence, and stigma. Women and girls are denied access to basic menstrual hygiene products, accurate health information, and the dignity they deserve simply because of a natural biological process. To address this, we are working on the ground to reach women who lack access to menstrual hygiene resources, conducting awareness sessions, and creating safe spaces where these conversations can happen openly and without shame. To sustain and expand this work, we need to raise ₹10,000 — funds that will go directly toward hygiene supplies, awareness materials, and community outreach efforts that make a real difference in women's lives. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us reach one more woman, start one more conversation, and dismantle one more barrier built on misinformation and silence. If you cannot donate today, please consider sharing this campaign with someone who can. Together, we can bring menstrual health out of the shadows and into the light where it belongs. Your support means dignity, health, and hope for women who need it most.
