In May 2022, I launched Disrupt.ed, a social initiative focused on empowering innovative social impact entrepreneurs from low-income communities. Our mission centers on supporting sustainable, women-led projects and small-scale businesses. By raising awareness and providing practical skill development, material support, and networking opportunities, Disrupt.ed aims to equip women and girls from disadvantaged backgrounds with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to become financially independent and successful entrepreneurs.
To date, Disrupt.ed has partnered with the Gulmeher Foundation to conduct skill training workshops, fostering sustainable and environmentally responsible business practices. As part of our commitment to ongoing support, we are thrilled to announce the Disrupt.ed Sustainable Seed Grant.
Through this fundraiser, we aim to raise 80,000 INR to provide grants of 10,000 INR each to five deserving women who have completed our training programs. These grants will serve as seed funding to help them launch their own small-scale sustainable businesses. Additionally, 20,000 INR from the fundraiser will be donated to the Gulmeher Foundation to support their vital work, and 10,000 INR will be donated to Gurudwara Lalgumbad, a key partner in our initiative.
Your generous contribution will directly impact the lives of these women, providing them with the opportunity to turn their skills and ideas into thriving businesses. Together, we can foster a new generation of socially responsible women entrepreneurs, driving positive change in their communities. Join us in supporting Disrupt.ed and help us make a lasting difference.
