Through development, relief, and advocacy, we pursue the fullness of life for every child by serving the poor and oppressed regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love for all people.
Formation of Volunteers of India Charitable and Social Trust dates back to November 28, 2018.  We were a group of friends involved in various social activities in different places for the past four years. Over a period of time, we felt the need to form a larger team of experts to reach out to more people and so was born VOI. Our team has now expanded to 1830 Volunteers carrying out various activities in different areas. We envision a world where no child lives without love, shelter, education, and support.
The mainstay of this organization is Mr. RajThilak – Managing Trustee, Mr. Vignesh Durai – Trustee, Ms. Deepthy – Trustee, Mr. M Sakthivel – Trustee, Mrs. Premila Govindarajulu – Secretary. Dedicated and like-minded, we strive hard to achieve our goals successfully.
OUR MISSION:
A simple Act can bring in a huge Change – That’s #Volunteers of India Charitable and Social Trust – WE ARE THE CHANGE!
The roots of Volunteers of India Can be traced back to the Vision we had to build an Educational Institution for the street kids so that they glimmer in the colors of the rainbow through opportunity, dignity, and hope and become the change within their communities. We will mold each kid by identifying their unique talents and train them from that perspective. We would provide the dignity that comes from an educated mind, a healthy body, an honest day wage and a safe place to dwell. We are believers in Innovation. We are transparent in our works and translates every penny the trust receives into a smile on penurious kids.
Love and courage when shared strengthen and magnifies. #Volunteers of India Charitable and Social Trust is an epitome of such positive Force.

OUR ASSIGNMENTS:

1.INSTALLATION OF INCINERATOR: 26.02.2019
A nearby Government School, located at Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore was identified. The Principal Mr. Manohar took us around the school and explained various requirements for the perfect functioning of the school. We identified the need for Incinerator as most important as the sanitary napkins were not disposed scientifically and were lying scattered in the restrooms and in the premises.

Hence we first educated the students about why we require to install an Incinerator? We enforced that the attitude towards the disposal of used sanitary napkins needs to be changed. Flushing the used pads or mixing with normal waste is totally objectionable. The used pads need to be buried or burnt. But how is it possible in the school premises. That’s where the role of Incinerators which helps to burn the Used napkins into ash with the help of electricity.

#Volunteers of India – WE ARE THE CHANGE, provided two Incinerators to the Govt High School with the Support of our Sponsor V Guard Industries thus bringing a smile on 250 Female students studying in that school saving the dignity of kids studying there and for clean and hygienic surrounding too.
A small change brings in big Smile # Volunteers of India Charitable and Social Trust.

5.HEALTH AND HYGIENE AWARENESS PROGRAM: 22.01.2019, Venue: VIVEGAM SCHOOL
Good Personal Hygiene is important for both good health and social reasons. It entails keeping your hands, head, and body clean so as to stop the spread of germs and diseases. Your personal hygiene benefits your own health and impacts the lives of those around you too.

Dr. Mahima MBBS.DNB(OB)  volunteered with our team to conduct this session for the girls of Vivegam Matriculation School, Coimbatore. Around 450 students along with the principal of the school and few other faculties were present during the session. The awareness program was a great success as it had a lot of positive impact on the students and during the interactive session, they raised many questions to clarify their doubts on the subject discussed. The management of the school and the students also appreciated us and requested us to conduct more sessions of this kind. We also asked these students to be more friendly with the teachers and principal as they spend most the time in school and that they discuss any kind of issue with them be it correct or wrong and stressed on the fact that teachers will always be there to motivate and guide you in the right direction. Thanks to Dr. Mahima who in spite of her busy schedule was able to volunteer her time for the benefit of these wonderful students.
