My name is Pawan Kumar and I am here to raise funds for my son Vivek who is just 29 years of age. He lives in Bengaluru, Karnataka with us.
Vivek is just 29 years and is battling the Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma Blood Cancer, a very unique category blood cell cancer which requires aggressive treatment with severe medication and chemotherapy.
He is currently admitted and receiving Medication in Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre at under Dr Damodar.
We are in urgent need of financial support to ensure the treatment completes its course. Please help us by donating to this campaign. Every contribution counts and will help keep my family together and get the cheerful Vivek hale and healthy.
“If anyone ever asked Vivek what he wanted to be when he grew up, he would shout ‘the best IT engineer’ without missing a beat. An extremely healthy punctual cheerful Vivek is now bracing for happiness lying down in the hope to be the best engineer he dreamt of working with the likes of Google and Microsoft.
Vivek is a magnetic soul full of love and takes opportunity to share it with his family and friends. He also carries the responsibility of earning and caring for his parents.
Vivek has been suffering from high fever mostly around 104 degrees since March 2021 and upon further diagnosis, was diagnosed with this cancer ailment. As a result of the unique T-cell cancer which is also responsible for maintaining immunity in the body, fever is not subsiding and hence requires aggressive line of treatment to cure. His young age and lack of comorbidities give him a good chance of recovering with this treatment.
The hospitalisation cost and chemotherapy cost with skyrocketing priced medicines dramatically increased the medical expenses, averaging around INR 70,000 per day. The treatment has already costed us INR 30 lacs and have completely wiped out our savings with dependency on loans and borrowings.
A breakdown of the expected further costs:
- INR 25 lacs i.e., INR 70,000 per day of medical expenses and hospitalisation including medicines .
Despite our best efforts to raise the total amount, the increased expenses resulted in a shortfall of INR 25 lacs.
We are asking for help as last resort as we face these very difficult unprecedented times. If you can please please donate and also share with your friends and family on WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram to help us raise the amount needed for Vivek’s medical expenses.
Please support Vivek by keeping him in your prayers. My Wife Sarita and I am waiting for Vivek’s return and we are eternally grateful for the help and support of each and everyone of you. We are sure that our son will bounce back like Yuvraj Singh did with immense support and prayers.
Pawan Kumar (Father) waiting for his young cheerful son to be yet cheerful again
