On Saturday 04/09/2021, at 3:30 PM IST, while my family was travelling from Erode to Madurai(Tamil Nadu), at Kombanai Puthur near Kodumudi in a Santro car, an Eicher van driven by a reckless driver from the opposite direction propelled towards the car in a high speed and hit the car with an extreme force, killing Mr.Viswanathan - our acting driver. He was more of a family friend rather than just our driver and he used to help our family to move from one place to the other. My family- my father,my aunt , my grandmother and my sister sustained many injuries and fractures,  while Mr.Viswanathan died on the spot. He is survived by his wife and two daughters- one married and other has just commenced her career.
My father says, it was Mr.Viswanathan's timely action(to drift left) that had saved the life of everyone in my family. So to be said in other words, Mr.Viswanathan gave up his life to save all the others.
Fortunately and by God's grace, I am able to be with my family to help all of them through the hospitalization, whereas Mr.Viswanathan's family has lost their one and only one bread winner.

Many of us would have our own drivers or our acting drivers and with our busy lives we sometimes care less about them until such incidents happen. Unfortunately, one such incident in my family has emphasized the importance of such good people, who have been saving us everyday. I am trying my best to contribute for him and so dear friends,  please if you can, do your best for this grieving family.
