National Federation of the Blind is supporting families based out of Tamil Nadu. All of them are visually impaired families. 

Before the pandemic, they sold items like toys, pens, eatables etc. at railway stations, bus stops and other public places. 

Due to the pandemic, and the lockdown restrictions they have been forced to stay at home right now, which makes the daily struggle much more difficult as there is no other source of income. 

We are looking to provide daily rations and other necessities to 1500 people who are visually impaired. Each ration kit costs Rs.1500 and has the following:

1. Rice 10kg - Rs. 600

2. Sugar 1kg - Rs. 40

3. Salt 1kg - Rs. 20

4. Toor Dhal - Rs. 110

5. Oorad Dhal 1kg - Rs. 120

6  Gold Winner Oil 1kg - Rs. 180

7. Jeera 100gm - Rs. 15

8. Chilli Powder 200gm - Rs. 30

9. Dry Chilli 200gm - Rs. 50

10. Pepper 100gm - Rs. 60 

11. Tea Powder 250g - Rs. 150

12. Aachi Sambar Powder 100gm - Rs. 50

13. Tamrind 250gm - Rs. 40

14. Turmeric 200gm - Rs. 20 

15. Mustard Powder 100 gm - Rs. 10

This ration kit will help them for a period of 3 months. We urge you to support the people in Tamil Nadu by helping us ease the situation here. Even the smallest of contributions can help a family survive this cruel pandemic.
