Vikram G S has been diagnosed with a rare nerve disorder called GB Syndrome last month, which may prove to be fatal if not treated in time. His health had considerably deteriorated since his diagnosis. The nerves in his legs and the major part of his body have been impacted and he is currently completely bed-ridden. He works as a temporary employee in a FMCG company.
Due to the criticality of the situation, immediate medical assistance is required. The Doctors fear permanent paralysis if the required treatment is further delayed. Keeping this in mind, few of his colleagues have supported his family to admit him in a hospital which is capable of providing proper medical care and assistance. The Doctors believe Vikram can be cured of this disorder with the help of injections and medical care during recovery.
Although Vikram is now showing a positive response to the treatment provided so far, he has a long way to go. The estimated medical expenses are in the range of 15 lakh rupees. Given the financial condition of his family and the paucity of funds, we have decided to contribute in every little way we can.
