I am giving you these two unrelated pieces of information to lay out the background for why I felt that I was closer to living the phrase when I received the admission letter for the Master of Business Administration programme at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology. (And I agree with your opinion - storytelling is definitely not something I am cut out for. So I will stick to being a straight shooter.)
I am very keen on pursuing the MBA programme as it will enable me to gain a holistic understanding of the international dimensions and commercial intricacies of Corporate Law. This will help me in achieving my aim of assisting the Indian corporate regulator in internationally oriented corporate law policy making.
Being born into a family of farming who have built their lives from scratch just on the basis of their hard-earned academic degrees, the focus on academic excellence was ingrained since my early childhood.
I have been a diligent student throughout school and college (always maintained my rank in the top two students of the class - yes, nerd and proud!) working on the belief that diligence and hard work are the key ingredients to achieving one’s goals.
However, I am facing financial hurdles in achieving this goal. The total financial requirement (inclusive of tuition fee, maintenance and accommodation expenses) for the programme is $15,846. After applying for multiple sources of funding, taking a loan and exhausting my savings earned during the two years of work, I am still falling short of the financial requirement for the programme by $10,846.
There has been no priority other than excelling academically and no substitute to hard work. Hence, I will be extremely grateful if you could please provide any financial assistance so that my financial constraints do not prove to be an obstacle for me in breaking the glass ceiling to reach for the stars.
