Viji affected due to quadriplegia –no movement below neck ; authored 2 books! #Help_Viji
Veerapandi @Viji is a native of sethuppatti village in Trichy district. Vjii, a simple village youth Viji who started his college course had the dream of becoming a great songwriter.
In 2010, unexpectedly, Viji stuck in a road accident . He who was thrown into a lorry, was fortunately a survivor, and the doctors told his both legs and hands were inconsequential for a serious injury in the spinal cord. Vijay's father Periyasamy is a farmer who owns coconut palm. The disability caused by the son greatly affected the him. Periyasamy died in the son's worry.
It has been almost nine years since the incident. Many of the
problems that Viji had lost during the past nine years .he lost hope without
movement . At the age of saving the
family. He regrets that he is a burden to his mother
His mother is a labourer . working for daily wage of Rs 200 for a community run by
the state- National Rural 100-day Employment Scheme.Work would be for would be only 10 to 14 days per month. They
struggle living on this daily basis.
Now a days Vijay's
hand fingers startedworking . He started, typing on the phone and composing
several songs. Through his diligence, Viji wrote and published two poems, 'Virutchamaagum
Siru Vidhai and 'Manangothi'. In addition,he wrote a song for the contest
conducted by the movie “Kartin Mozhi team” Viji was one of 66 contestants for
the first round of more than 700 contestants.
Last year, Viji knew that a disabled friend, like Viji, had a chance to recover by taking a ayurvedic treatment .So Viji sent his medical examination to the hospital in Kerala. Doctors who viewed Viji's medical report,
said that Viji would be able to cure the impact of the quadriplegia by providing Ayurvedic Panchakarma treatment and physiotherapy treatment.
Since there are almost three months to stay, a total of Rs 5 lakh is required for medical treatment.He started his treatment .Now he is very enthusiastic because he has got a message that his legs are getting treated and one leg is recovering.
"When my books were released in Chennai, I could not attend those events due to my inability, and if I get the treatment, in the next success stage, I will take my mother along with me when I release my book " Says Viji.
