My name is B. Gopalakrshna Bhat(57 years old) and I am here to raise funds for my wife Vijayalakshmi.K ,who is 45 years old. We've been married for 25 years. Vijayalakshmi lives in Kasaragod, Kerala with me.
Vijayalakshmi is a housewife.Vijayalakshmi had an accident in the year 2000. Vijayalakshmi is suffering from Spinal cord injury(T-10 crushed) from 20 years. Vijayalakshmi is now suffering from Multiple pressure sores in the sacral, bilateral foot and hip region. She is paraplegic and has only wheelchair mobility. She doesn't have any sensation and power in the lower body and constantly needs medical assistance with trained nurses attending her always.
She is currently admitted and receiving treatment at Aster MIMS Hospital, Kannur, Kerala, India. Until now, till the beginning of the present treatment we've spent an amount of Rs. 60,00,000 from the Year 2000- 2019.This has caused significant financial burden and our resources are depleted.
We've arranged the amount from savings & loans. In the next 60 days, we need an additional amount of Rs.9,65,000 more for Plastic surgeries and further treatments(Total cost for 6 months treatments). It is also estimated above Rs.20,00,000 is required for her further on going treatments and home nursing care only.All this amount is inclusive of surgical, medical, and home care treatments only.
