Vidyadhara is a school that provides an environment of freedom that fosters critical thinking in children and makes them mindful of not just the world outside but also their individuality.
We have been able to develop teaching approaches and learning material that help children with educationally disadvantaged backgrounds to be on par with the others. Through this we hope to be able to make children independent in every dimension of life.
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” - Lao Tzu
We are open to students and parents from socio-culturally and financially diverse backgrounds. We believe every child should have access to good quality education and financial situation of the parents should not come in the way.
Parents who seek a holistic education for their child will not be turned away by Vidyadhara due to their inability to pay the tuition fee.
The parents of children in our school comprise of agricultural laborers, small farmers, construction workers and a small portion of literate salaried employees. Most of them cannot afford to fund their child's education entirely. This creates an annual shortfall.
Till now we have been able to fill the shortfall from our contingency fund. Going further, to balance all our aims and for staying true to our philosophy we require Rs. 20,00,000 towards meeting the accrued and annual deficit for FY2021-22.
100% of this amount will be utilized for student kits, salaries of teachers and staff. Quarterly report of the spending will be shared with the donors.
