I am harini writing here to seek financial support for my 2nd child surgery.
My son Vibhav Krishna is 2.5 years old suffering from bartter syndrome due to which he has motor developmental delay and bilateral profound hearing loss. Being a bartter syndrome kid he suffers from weight gain and chlorides imbalance. For past one and half years we daily take him to physio therapy and occupational therapy to make him sit, stand and walk like normal kid.
We tried whether hearing aid could support him but it didn't support hence ENT doctor advised to go for cochlear implant. However the cost of surgery is high and with our current financial position we couldn't able to afford or manage this as we are already drained due to his periodical hospitalisation, regular physio therapy and occupational therapy treatment.
Please note that there are few instruments which is cheaper than the below instrument cost. However the drawback of those instruments is in future for any other health issues tests such as MRI Scans cannot be taken with this implanted instrument. We need to explant or remove it by surgical procedure and then have to undergo mri.. Since already my son is a bartter syndrome baby this will be complicated as it involves surgical procedure. Hence I have mentioned the cost of instrument which suits my son's condition. I hereby attach medical reports for your kind reference. Please support us to start a new beginning for my son.
