My name is Hitesh Mittal and I am raising funds for my father, Verjinder Mittal, 48 years old, who is suffering from Respiratory Failure, Bilateral ARDS and Post Covid Complications. Admitted in Hero Heart DMC Hospital in ECMO unit, needs Mechanical ventilator with ECMO machine for survival.
He is the father of three children, currently working in BSNL Bathinda. All three of them are studying. He is the sole earner of a family living in Bathinda as my mother is a housewife.
Now he is currently admitted in Hero Heart DMC Hospital in ECMO unit. As per doctors he is in very critical situation and needs Mechanical Ventilator along with ECMO machine for survival. But this treatment is very costly and we had spent all our savings for his treatment till now as he is hospital from past 20days. He was tested Covid positive on 27/07/2022 and got hospitalised on the same day at a local hospital in bathinda. But the situation was getting worse, The doctor referred my father to DMC Hospital, Ludhiana where they put him on Mechanical Ventilator and started VV-ECMO which is a very risky procedure. Various other procedures have been performed to stabilize him. He has lost his breathing capacity and to keep him alive Ventilator+ECMO is must. So far, we've spent about Rs. 15,00,000 on his treatment which we managed to arrange from the savings, loans, relatives& insurance.
In the next few days, we will need Rs.40,00,000 more, for further treatment and recovery.
As this treatment is very costly which estimate around 6-7Lakh/week. The treatment duration is atleast 7-8weeks as per doctor. He will be needing physiotherapy and constant 24*7 Ventilatory and ECMO supports for his recovery. These funds will help us to pay the hospital bills so that my father can get the required treatment. Please come forward to support Verjinder’s family in getting funds for his treatment and rehabilitation for his bilateral ARDS and lung failure. Any contribution will be of immense help.
Do contribute and share this fundraiser link forward with your friends and family. Your prayers, gratitude and generous help are all we need for his speedy recovery into his normal life.
