*PREFACE*
Greetings everyone!! I pray to the almighty to keep everyone safe during this pandemic situation which has hampered the lives of many and put us in a distress.
Normal people like us cannot cope up with the situation like this then imagine the situation of our children who are special and cannot communicate or narrate their agony due to their shortcomings as they are mentally challenged.
Let us join our hands at these challenging times and donate generously for the well being of them who have equal rights to live like any one of us
Please come forward and help us help them so that they also get equal chance to stay happy like any one of us.
About Us:
Aakansha special school (operated under Vatsalya Trust) has been established in the year 2010 and since its inception we have been thriving hard to nurture and help special children (Intellectual disability) in and around Hospet ( a town near Hampi Karnataka), We have worked hard to bring around 70 such children under one roof and provide them with the necessary training which makes them self sufficient to do their day to day chores and activities. Most of the children belong to parents who are daily wage workers.
In addition to this we also involve them in paper bag making, Candle making and other sorts of creative works which will make them self sufficient to earn their own small amount so that they are not left out in the society or by their own family.
Our appeal:
As we are all aware that the pandemic situation has made all our lives haywire, We are helping our children and their parents by providing them with every day essentials so that they can at least get their daily meals in such grave situation. As most of the parents are daily wage workers they have lost their jobs and are struggling to make their ends meet.
Hence request you all to contribute as much as possible for the cause. Together let us put a smile on the children and their parents face and do our small noble deed's towards uplifting the poor and needy
Breakup of the expenses incurred:
Monthly breakup per family
Rice 10Kgs := 10Kgs*50=500 Rs
Dal 3kgs := 3*100=300 Rs
oil 2kgs := 2*100=200 Rs
Atta 5kgs := 5*50=250Rs
Sugar 3kgs := 3*40=120 Rs
Milk 1/2litre per day := 30*25=750 rs
Total cost per family per month is 2120 and we have around 50 families hence the total cost would be 2120*50=106000 per month.
