PLEASE HELP US SAVE MY FATHER’S LIFE
My father is currently admitted at Narayana MMI, and our family is going through the most difficult time of our lives.
📘 Our Story
In 2021, my father battled a life-threatening Covid infection. Although he survived, he was left with multiple severe complications—cardiovascular disease and peripheral artery disease in both legs. This later led to gangrene, and his left leg had to be amputated below the knee.
That same year, I also lost my mother. Since then, it has been just me and my father trying to rebuild our lives. My brother, who secured a job in 2022, became our main earning member.
Despite everything, we stayed strong and kept going.
⚠️ What Happened Recently
In January 2025, my father developed a severe UTI that caused significant kidney damage. With continuous follow-ups, we were trying our best to delay dialysis.
But last month, he was diagnosed with a very rare and serious disease: Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). Given his medical history, the only possible treatment was plasmapheresis (PLEX) — extremely risky and very expensive.
He went through 4 sessions of PLEX, each filled with complications, but he fought bravely and was discharged on 31st October.
Just a few days after reaching home, he began struggling to breathe. We rushed him to AIIMS, where doctors said his kidney condition had worsened. The next morning things got critical, and we had to take him to the emergency again.
AIIMS kept him for a day, but due to no available beds, they referred him out. Every day, I pleaded for admission at AIIMS, but they repeatedly refused due to bed shortages.
🚑 Current Condition
My father is now at Narayana MMI, undergoing dialysis, and new complications are being added every day.
We have exhausted our insurance, used all our savings, and sold whatever we could to continue his treatment.
At this point, we are helpless and urgently need financial support.
