Girl Up, a campaign hosted by the United Nations Foundation, gives girls worldwide the opportunity to channelize their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for programs of the United Nations that help some of the world's hardest-to-reach adolescent girls.

We at Girl Up Wings, a youth-led Delhi Based Chapter of the Campaign, are trying to bring a small change in the lives of underprivileged women who are already facing major distress in these tough times. The pandemic has caused a lot of economic distress for them and further deepened their problems. Girl Up Wings has initiated raising funds for a hygiene kit which will include essential items like sanitizer, gloves, a mask, and a COVID-19 infographic and a Sanitation Kit. This will help a lot of women who are more prone to the virus than the majority of people who have the means to at least safeguard themselves.
