I am Satyawadi Samal, and I am writing this on behalf of my dear friend and his family whose shop near Shahajand Chowk, Harmu, Ranchi, Jharkhand, suffered a devastating fire. Their shop, which had been reopened just four months ago, was their only source of income. Tragically, the fire spread from a neighboring shop, and in just a short time, everything - inventory, infrastructure, electrical wiring, and equipment was lost.

     What makes this loss even more heartbreaking is that my friend’s family had invested all their savings and hard-earned money into setting up this shop, hoping for a secure future. Their insurance and loan paperwork was still in process due to the recent re-opening, so they had no financial safety net against such a disaster. Now, the estimated loss is around 30 lakh rupees.

    This tragedy has left the family in a severe crisis. My friend is a B.Tech. student at C.V. Raman Global University, Bhubaneswar, and his two elder sisters are also still studying. With no remaining savings, managing even basic needs, paying for college and continuing education have become almost impossible for them. The shop was their only hope for stability.
Their story has been covered by both local and national media, but what this family truly needs right now is our support. As a friend who knows their honesty, hard work, and character.

   I sincerely appeal to you all, please help in any way you can. Even a small contribution can give them hope and a chance to rebuild their lives and education.
