Jiva is a registered NGO dedicated to the cause of community animals of Kolkata. With a passionate team with decades of experience in the field, we run an animal hospital that addresses the medical treatment of stray animals in distress, vaccination & birth control projects, adoption & more.

In the midst of the nationwide lockdown, the stray animals of the community are left without their usual source of food from friendly community members. Jiva pledges to feed over 150 animals in and around its hospital in Kolkata.

On a daily basis, we estimate that we need Rs. 3,500/- towards sourcing:
- 18 kg's of RICE
- 10 kg's of CHICKEN by-product
- 3 kg's of POTATOES
- 3 kg's of SOYABEAN
- 2 kg's of VEGETABLES
- misc. items like cooking gas.
