He started getting the symptoms some time ago and immediately we rushed to get tests done for his health. It was reported that Utkarsh has an acute case of Pulmonary Embolism, a condition in which arteries of the lung are blocked due to blood clots. As soon as he was diagnosed, we checked him into the hospital.

He is currently admitted and receiving care in the ICU of Bansal Hospital, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It's been a few days since he was admitted, but even after all the procedures and surgeries his condition is worsening day by day. We had somehow arranged the money for the Embolectomy. Despite that, the body isn't responding well and Doctors suggested us to get ECMO to support his life.

The first day cost itself for ECMO Machine is over ₹ 3Lakhs, and that for its setup is ₹ 2Lakhs. In addition to that, every further day we will be in need of almost ₹ 1.5Lakhs - this includes charges for ICU and the ECMO Machine, among other standard expenditures.

Until now, we've spent more than ₹ 6Lakhs. We've arranged amount from savings, loans & insurance. In the next few days, we need over ₹ 50Lakhs more for further treatment.
