My mother, Mrs. Usha Sharma (Age: 55), has lived a life of simplicity. She never asked for much from life — only to see her family remain together and peaceful.

Unfortunately, her heart condition turned serious, and she had to be admitted urgently to Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali, Ghaziabad, UP on 29th November 2025 with severe breathlessness. After extensive evaluation, she was diagnosed with advanced heart valve disease and pulmonary hypertension, which required urgent open-heart surgery.

On 1st December, she underwent major open-heart surgery that included mitral valve replacement and tricuspid valve repair through annuloplasty. While the surgery itself was successful, her post-operative recovery has been extremely complicated and prolonged.

Following surgery, she required continuous ICU care, ventilator support, and high-end medications. She developed serious lung infections and respiratory complications, making it difficult for her to breathe independently. Due to further deterioration, a tracheostomy was performed, and she remains on ventilator support while receiving intensive physiotherapy, nutritional support, and round-the-clock monitoring.

At present, her condition is currently stable, but remains critical. The doctors have advised that discharge is not expected anytime soon. She will require at least another 2-3 weeks of hospitalization for stabilization and recovery, provided no further complications arise.

So far, the total medical expenses have already crossed ₹11,00,000 and continue to rise by approximately ₹50,000–₹90,000 per day, mainly due to ICU charges, ventilator support, medications, investigations, and specialized nursing care. Unfortunately, we do not have any medical insurance, and all our savings have already been exhausted in managing the emergency surgery and ongoing treatment.

At this stage, we are trying to arrange funds from wherever possible to ensure that her treatment can continue without interruption. As a family, this is both emotionally and financially overwhelming.

We are reaching out with humility to seek support for my mother’s recovery. Any contribution - large or small - will directly help us meet the escalating medical costs. If you are unable to contribute, sharing this appeal would also be a meaningful way to help.
