As India is struggling with the ever rising COVID positive cases, two key sections of our societies have taken the biggest brunt of this pandemic - the daily wage earners and the front line health workers!
While daily wage earners were initially rendered jobless by COVID pandemic, now livelihoods of a large number of families in India that survive on daily wages are being severely affected. Workers at construction sites, shops, restaurants, delivery staff and local transport systems, the daily wager community has seen their only source of income come to a screeching halt! Our initiative works towards providing them with a month's supply of ration in the remotest of villages.
On the other front, when the world is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, our heroes (Health Workers, Police, Municipal Workers, etc.) are fighting a war against it to save our lives. However, to deal with it in a safer manner, we need to enable our medical staff, etc. with the right protective gear. Our initiative will help supply the PPE kits to needy individuals and organizations.
