Unekha is a global talent platform based in Hyderabad, India. The platform created to feature talents unbiased and helps them to reach more audience through our platforms and public events. It aims to create, discover and connect people in the fields of arts, literature, photography, performing arts, fashion and other industries.

To create an opportunity to connect with the people of similar or other skills from around the world. We believe that a platform should be available for everyone to showcase their talent and that inspiration can be found everywhere.

What's our History?

Unekha is founded by Prashanth Jogiralla, an engineering student from Hyderabad in the year 2016. Started as an online talent platform creating the profiles of the artists and creators. Later in 2018, adopting the new reforms of the arts and community about how to reach people offline, we have started the offline workshops, exhibitions, community meet-up and other events. At the same time, keeping the website alive making the modifications and adding new features every time. We have published an anthology ‘VIBGYOR – Shades Of Life’ with the 40+ writers involved from all over India and few foreign countries.

By the end of March 2020, Unekha is a part of more than 250+ events directly / indirectly across the major cities/towns of India. Now, Unekha stands at a stage to be one of the biggest talent platforms to create, explore and connect with the creators!

Unekha Platform Current Features

1. Community Platform - Unekha is a global talent platform where creators sign up for free to the website to create, connect and explore others. Thus includes, artists, writers, performing artists, photographers, musicians and over 100+ talent categories to chose from. The platform allows the users to connect through sharing their works to the global community, connecting with others through the messaging and discovering similar or other creators through the explore. 
2. Blog - The team of content writers features talented creators in different fields to reach more audience where they are appreciated or to get some freelance projects.

But why do we do this?

The creators across the world are having limited restrictions to connect with the other creators. Though, there are some of the social media platforms helps them to connect socially. While some of the organizations or platforms are restricted to certain categories like arts or music or dance. Even a few others are regional or city-based. But, when it comes to having one global platform for all the talents, it's none! We would like to build that one platform beyond the boundaries and breaking the biased talent platforms.

Unekha wants to see the every aspiring creator like artist, writer, musician, singer or any self-made or anyone with the out of the box ideas from across the world on the same stage where the experienced, professionals and the role models stand. We want to create a platform which creates the freelance projects who have left their professional well-paid jobs for their passion. We want to support them both financially and develop their skills through our platform.

Why are we raising the funds?

As per calculation, we need the total amount for running the website and to pay the team of unekha working very hard for the first year. The contribution that you will be making will go in

1. Unekha Platform - We are building a global platform that will need a strong team of web developers who adds the features to create the Freelance Services, Support Independent Artists, Community Platform and other required futures. 
2. Team Of Unekha - The team of content writers, the social media manager and other teams who are working to create a better platform.

 
Till date whatever registration fees we have charged to the artists for the workshops, exhibitions and any other events for any projects that we have done in any of the cities, the entire cost has gone into sustainability for this idea. Even the founder work part-time, the personal savings so that they can manage their personal expenses.

In fact, The family and friends believed in it and contributed to this cause. We have put in total Rs 50000 from our side for making this idea grow from the very beginning. So whatever money we will raise that is going to be used for the above-mentioned cause itself. We pledge to use every penny generated through this campaign for the uplift of the creators and to create an unbiased better community for all of us!
