No need to be quiet is a charity started by Myra Sinha and Sarah Rose from Pathways School Noida.
Our aim is to buy period products with the money we raise and to educate women on how periods is not something to be ashamed about. We want the women of India to know that periods should not be stigmatized and that having them does not make one 'impure' or 'unholy' and that they should not feel any less than others when this natural process occurs.
When conducting our research, we found out that 1 in 10 girls under the age of 21 in India cannot afford period products and over 70% of reproductive health issues are caused by poor menstrual hygiene.
We aim to raise at least Rs. 10,000 to buy enough period products such as sanitary pads, tampons and menstrual cups to donate to women in orphanages and schools. It is up to the people of today to help the future of underprivileged girls in India. We will be very thankful if you were to help us on our journey.
Thank You
