“The seeds of success in every nation on Earth are best planted in women and children.” - Joyce Banda

Our Friends of Sambhali Trust,

We are grateful to our sponsors for their regular support that we are able to run some of our projects regularly. Over the years, your generosity and belief in our mission have played a crucial role in empowering women and providing education to children through our Empowerment Centers (ECs) and Primary Education Centers (PECs). We are immensely grateful for your ongoing support that has enabled us to make a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of women and children.

However, we find ourselves facing an unprecedented challenge. The changing global dynamics, economic uncertainties, geopolitical conflicts, and the residual effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have placed us in a precarious situation. Two of our significant supporters have regrettably withdrawn their commitments for future collaborations, leaving us with a considerable funding gap. Without immediate assistance, we are at risk of having to shut down some of our vital projects that have been instrumental in transforming the lives of women and children in need.

Our goal at Sambhali Trust is to empower Rajasthani women with the necessary skills to sustain themselves financially and provide for their families. We provide vocational training to women in sewing and embroidery. Our tutors teach them to make various Indian garments, accessories, and soft toys. These skills enable them to earn an income by selling the products in the local market. We also give them access to a larger market through Sambhali boutique. This serves as many women's primary source of income. Along with the free vocational training, we provide all the raw materials, stationery, and sewing machine to them so that they can be independent without any hindrance.

Our initiative not only makes them financially independent but also boosts their confidence and sense of self-worth. The empowerment of each woman is crucial to the development of a family and society.

After the Covid-19 pandemic, we resumed vocational training at our centers. We need your support to sustain the initiative.
Our goal is to raise the fund for the following purposes:
  • Stationary- Basic stationery such as pens, chalks, scissors, measuring tape, registers, scale, etc.
  • Raw materials- Needles, threads, cloth materials
  • Sewing machines
  • Technical fees- Salary of tutors, transportation

We would really appreciate any donation made for a good cause!
