Sharda Vidya Bhavan is a school and home-stay established in Thane since 2007 for the poor and underprivileged kids. On having a conversation with Gyaneshwar Patil, the caretaker present there, certain things were brought to light.

The government had initially approved it for a total of 24 students but eventually, students have been adding up and now they have 80 children at the campus. Thus the resources are shared amongst many. The paint color has worn off, the mattresses, lockers, and cupboards are less and in a deteriorated condition which acts as a barrier to their education. Furthermore, the basic renovation has to be performed to improve the water leakage condition.

We at Rotaract Club of Thane North End have pledged to aid this organization in every way we can. Let’s make this a collective effort to enhance their lifestyle and learning curve.
